Sports Music Assemble People is defintely one of the best music groups in Japan with over 12 albums and 29 singles, they hit the charts in 1989 with their debut single "can't stop -LOVING-". Originally consisting of 6 members, Katsuya Mori left the group 3 years ago to persue his motor cycle career. SMAP now have their very own variety show called SMAPXSMAP which includes cooking. They also appear in many dramas, movies and radio talk shows.
